Rather than trouble-shoot the actual problem, the 'technician' said to replace the battery - a part that they did not carry. When that failed, he said to replace the power cable, again that they did not carry. All of this also was done, putting the price of the laptop (including "repair costs") to nearly a grand.

The technician was rude, lacked customer service, and was condescending.

The service at this location is quite poor.

When going in, again, to have the computer looked at - the technician said that "it was not purchased" from them - a comment quickly retracted when we offered to show him the receipt. We were told "stop the riot act, and listen to me for a minute" when we were simply laying out the time line and trouble we were having. We were accused of saying their business is corrupt, and treated as if we had no idea of what we were talking about (none of which was said by us). Finally, we were told that either the connection from the power supply was loose, or the motherboard would have to be replaced. However, he could not test his hypothesis, since he didn't have that power cord in the store, they were on order - Which makes one wonder if this "test" was ever even done before...

Save yourself money and headaches, and go elsewhere for sales and service of your computer

I have used Sentinel Technologies several times and found the technician to be very knowledgeable and was able to solve our issues in a timely manner. They were able to set up my network quickly even though I was networking 2 Mac's with a PC. Just recently a key piece of software that I use in my business suddenly stopped working properly. I called Sentinel and the technician called back within 3 hours as he was on another service call. I explained my problem to him and he had just heard on a pod cast 2 hours before that an operating system update was causing a problem and he was able to direct me to a web site where a patch was available with free download. My software was up and running again within 15 minutes. It's such a relief to me that when my business was dead in the water, Sentinel was able to get me up and running again so quickly, and in this case at no charge. This is what I call top notch service and is why I'll continue to do business with them in the future.

I have used Sentinel Technologies now for several years, both to purchase personal & business computers & printers, and have found Michelle & Kip to be friendly, curteous, & professional. The pricing was reasonable & the servis is always first rate.I have always received immediate attention to my computer needs, often same day response.Kip has never not solve my computer problems & takes the time to teach me new operations. I am currently adding a new POS system to my business & Kip has been an important source to make the transition very smooth. I would highly recommend ( and do) Sentinel Technologies for your computer needs. Brian

After purchasing a laptop computer a few years ago, there has been nothing but trouble with this company. The laptop that was purchased was 'new' - or so we were led to believe. The computer will not hold a charge on the battery since ownership.

So in the time that I have had experiences in this store , I have never had a bad experience with the people or their knowledge. I hold the up most respect for them considering when we all have computers now a days and lets face it there is alot more technology then all of us can imagine. For them to be on top of what is all out there and to have all the knowledge in this field , We as consumers ought to be grateful for such intelligent technicians.
